July 2 Moving from the one-point

Aikido in flowing action

So much of Aikido comes down to the way we move from our core – variously talked about as the one-point, the dan tien or sometimes simply the “hips”.

It is not just good for martial arts, but also for health, fitness and keeping a calm mind.

In this Thursday’s online Aikido we’ll be using some special exercises to help strengthen the one-point.

We’re also continuing our exploration of a new technique and developing a dynamic empty-hand kata.

Feel free to join – 6 -6.50pm BST (please log on 10 minutes earlier so that we can start on time). Normal clothing.
